Throughout the past year, while ACEBSA made the decision to limit their services due to the coronavirus, ACEBSA has been working remotely in order to continue to provide as many valuable services and employee benefits to their members as possible while still keeping the staff and members’ health as the top priority.

That being said, although our physical offices remain closed until it is safer to re-open, ACEBSA members may not be aware that several of our services and benefits are still available to take advantage of during this time. Here are three services available at ACEBSA that LA city employees should know about.

One of the main benefits that come with an ACEBSA membership is the exclusive discounts on select merchandise, tickets, and more. Once you sign up and get approved for your membership with ACEBSA, you will be able to create an account to access ACEBSA’s online store and shop exclusive LA City branded merchandise, theme park and special event tickets, and gift cards at special discounted rates only available through ACEBSA.

Although many of our theme park vendors still remain closed due to COVID-19, the new year and approved vaccinations are resulting in some to slowly open back up. 2. Insurance Assistance and Retirement Benefits for Employees

As a valued member of ACEBSA, we have partnered with insurance companies to assist you with your insurance needs. Whether you have questions about coverage, what it will cost, or making changes to your policy, our designated agents from Aflac, Colonial Life, and Washington National, will help facilitate and get you what you need.

Just because you are retired or soon-to-be-retired doesn’t mean your ACEBSA membership has to retire, too. If you are a current ACEBSA member and are on the road to retirement (congratulations!), you have the option through Los Angeles City Employees Retirement System (LACERS) and/or the Fire and Police Pension system (FPP) to retain membership and insurance services as a monthly deduction. All you have to do is get in touch with your designated insurance company agent to inform them of your retirement date and we’ll handle the rest by working with your agent to process a New Retiree PDA Card for you. It’s as simple as that!

3. Free Classified Ads for LA City Employees

As many ACEBSA members are aware of by now, we personally mail a monthly El Pueblo Newspaper to your doorstep or mailbox. Within these newspapers is a free Classified Ads section which is reserved for free advertising as a benefit of your ACEBSA membership! Simply email your proposed ad to [email protected] along with your full name, employee ID, and contact information.

Must submit before the 5th of every month to be considered
Your ad cannot exceed 40 words
Your ad may only be used for the sale/rental of private item(s)
